February 2012. I meet with the foreign in campus while cross culture
understanding lecture. Before that, the foreigner introduce by his self. The name
is Mr.Simon and Mr.Lucky. Mr.Simon and Mr.Lucky guided with mrs.Dian. At the
time in class divide 2 groups. My group with Mr.Lucky. He is very funny, humor,
“Gokil” and cute. But I’m very happy if I see a smile her. I’m very happy can to
meet with foreigner.
He is talks about
Australian culture. In Australian not religion and not national identity. Besides
that, in Australian we haven’t religion. The culture in Australia is different
with Indonesia, start from religion, national identity, and life. First, In Australia there is no
religion, it’s mean that everyone be free to choose religion. Different in
Indonesia, It has religion which should have to everyone. Second, In Indonesia
have identity of country that is “ Garuda Pancasila “ but in Australia there is
no identity of country. Third, In Australia there isn’t be noisy in public
place like “ Suara Adzan” but in Indonesia “ Suara Adzan” we hear five times in
everyday.The habit Australia like on foot to go anywhere, transportation
in Australia is bus, Australia more like
bus from the others. He is asking. What the experience in Indonesia? He is go
to Jogjakarta, Sumatera, and Bali. He is very happy life in Indonesia. Because in
Indonesia peaceful than Australia.
He is study Indonesian
Language in SWCU Salatiga. In Salatiga, he has a family. He is live with Mr.Edi.
They
interesting in take a bathe because they confuse using “ Gayung”. He is talk,
actually Indonesia is Amazing. I’m so happy can share by her………..
